Kia India has launched a new CSD delivery scheme for defence personnel in India. On the occasion, the South Korean carmaker said that it has forayed into this new segment to cater to the defence personnel.

Kia said that the objective of the scheme is to enhance access to its cars for military personnel/military families/defence personnel. The brand has also confirmed that it has received over 100 bookings for Sonet and Carens models under this new channel. The automaker added that it will soon be commencing deliveries across its nationwide dealerships.

Kia India Chief Sales & Business Officer Myung-sik Sohn said in a statement, "This is yet another milestone in our journey and a humble initiative to partner with our men and women in uniform for their immense contribution to safeguarding this great nation."

Kia India has started CSD operations as a registered seller. Soon, the CSD scheme will begin deliveries for Sonet and Carens across its nationwide dealerships for Army personnel.

To avail of this scheme, customers need to provide their necessary documents. Kia India is committed to providing affordable cars for Defence Personnel and is offering the best car deals, discounts, car insurance, car finance, and hassle-free car delivery for them.

Kia currently sells a total of 4 products in the Indian market. These are - Sonet, Seltos, Carens, and Carnival.

The carmaker had unveiled its All-Electric SUV Concept – the Kia Concept EV9, at the 16th edition of the Auto Expo. The company also showcased the Kia KA4 and further announced an investment of Rs 2,000 crores in India for EV-related R&D, manufacturing, and infrastructure development.
