Jawa Motorcycle brand is now 100-dealership strong!

Jawa Motorcycle brand in India has witnessed an amazing growth under the ownership of Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd., which is now a 100-dealership strong, said a RushLane report, adding that all Jawa dealerships across the country are designed with the same theme, featuring a biker café ambience, bookshelf of interesting reads and Classic Rock music encompassing the entire showroom.

A hundred! This week showrooms open in Tirupathi, Hubli, Jamshedpur & Tinsukia, making our dealer family a century strong. #Jawa and #fortytwo reach every major Indian city. Thank you Kommuniti, customers & dealers.”
Having a strong dealer network across India, Jawa reportedly claims to be working hard to deliver bikes. On March 30, 2019, Jawa officially delivered the first motorcycle. Jawa will first clear delivery of bikes to those who booked motorcycle on 15th and 16th November, the report said quoting a dealer.
Accordingly, those who booked bikes on 15th November will receive their deliveries this month, and those who booked on 16th November will get their bikes in May 2019, while those who booked 17th and onwards will get deliveries June onwards, according to RushLane.
Notably, Jawa and Jawa 42, which are priced at Rs 1,64,000 and Rs 1,55,000 respectively, are available for the sale now. Launched on 15th Nov 2018, the two bikes received a huge response across India. The company has so far not revealed booking numbers, but it has stopped accepting bookings as the order book is stated to be filled till September 2019. Jawa bikes are being produced at the Mahindra two-wheeler plant in Pithampura, near Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
Both the Jawa bikes get their power from a 293cc DOHC, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine offering 27 hp power and 28 Nm torque. These bikes are reportedly equipped with single channel ABS as standard with rear drum brake. Jawa and Jawa 42 also boast of dual channel ABS and dual disc brakes are offered as an option.

Meanwhile, Jawa Perak, which is expected to be launched by 2019 end, will sport a larger 334cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine producing 30 bhp power and 31 Nm torque.
