Mahindra XUV300: Auto giant Mahindra has announced that XUV300 has surpassed the 13,000-bookings mark in India. The new sub-4 metre SUV was launched in India in February and the bookings for the new XUV300 are constant since January 9th, 2019, according to the company.  The XUV300 is selling in India ranging from ₹ 7.90 lakh to ₹ 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the SUV has three variants - W4, W6, and W8, with optional W8 (O) variant in addition. The XUV300 is equipped with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, disc brakes for all 4 wheels and LED taillamps. In the cockpit, it has an off-white and black finish rich looking interiors and the material used for dash has a silver finish. It also has a piano black touches on the doors' armrests, adding beauty to interiors.

The XUV300 comes with features like auto-climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity options (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), engine start-stop button, rearview camera cooled armrest box, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls and more.

The Mahindra XUV300 is available in both petrol and diesel engine variants, a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol version and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel one. The petrol model generates a 110 bhp at 5000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque between 2000 - 3500 rpm. While the diesel variant juices out 115 bhp at 3750 rpm and 300 Nm of peak torque between 1500 - 2500 rpm. 

Both petrol and diesel engines have a six-speed manual transmission as standard, while Mahindra is currently planning to add an AMT gearbox in the range.
