Is Hyundai testing new Santro 2018 ahead of launch?
Hyundai is gearing up to revive the new Santro withe better features compared to the older version which it officially banned in 2014.

After discontinuing the older Santro way back in 2014, Hyundai has planned to revive this mid-sized car with new features. The company seems to have already begun testing of this car on the roads of India.
"A partially camouflaged test mule of the 2018 Hyundai Santro was recently spotted in India," said a NDTV report.
Reportedly, this new Santro is being expected to be launched in India next year, somewhere in mid-2018. It is expected that the new car can be showcased at the Auto Expo 2018.
As per reports, this new Santro is expected to be priced between Rs 3.5 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakhs. It will be offering two engines, 1.1-litre iRDE and 1.2-litre Kappa engine.
Also, this would be the first Hyundai car to come with an AMT (automated manual transmission). Hyundai may further offer a five speed manual-option in this Santro.
Motorocane.com in its report stated that Hyundai Santro 2018 will still be a tall boy, but will come in a shaped rather than in boxy looks. It will look much better than the old model, but the old Santro's USPs will reflect on the new model.
The New Hyundai Santro 2018 is expected to replace the current i10 which is priced in the range of Rs 3.79 lakh to Rs 6.26 lakh and will come with a 1.0-litre petrol engine.
The New Hyundai Santro 2018 will rival the WagonR, Celerio, Tata Tiago and the Chevrolet Beat.
