BYD Seal
BYD Auto India rolled out its latest offering in the Indian passenger vehicle market – the Seal electric sedan on March 5. The vehicle, available in Dynamic, Premium, and Performance variants, offers a sleek design akin to a four-door coupe. The prices range from Rs 41.00 lakh to Rs 53.00 lakh (ex-showroom).

Featuring a modern digital layout on the dashboard with two free-standing screens, the Seal offers advanced safety features including nine airbags, traction control, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It comes with a choice of rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations, powered by either a 61.44 kWh or 82.56 kWh battery pack, offering ranges of up to 650 km. Charging capabilities include support for up to 150 kW DC fast charging.
Hyundai Venue Executive Turbo variant
Hyundai launched the 'Executive Turbo variant' of its popular SUV, the Venue, om March 5, targeting consumers seeking power and value. Priced at under Rs 10 lakh, this variant comes equipped with a 1-liter turbo engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, promising an exhilarating driving experience.

Exterior highlights of the Venue Executive Turbo include 16-inch alloy wheels and a stylish dark chrome front radiator grille. Inside, the cabin offers convenience features like front armrest with storage and rear reclining seats, along with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill assist control, ensuring a secure driving environment.
Volvo Reveals XC40 Recharge
Volvo launched the XC40 Recharge Plus variant, on March 7, which is a single-motor model offering enhanced performance at a lower price point compared to its dual-motor counterpart. Priced at Rs 54.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the XC40 Recharge Plus offers a 238bhp motor with a 69 kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTP range of 475 km.

Equipped with advanced features such as an 8-speaker sound system, two-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof, the XC40 Recharge Plus ensures a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. Tata Motors commercial vehicles price hike
Meanwhile, Tata Motors has declared its intention to raise the prices of its commercial vehicles by a maximum of 2 percent, effective from April 1. The company stated that this adjustment aims to counterbalance the lasting effects of previous input cost increases.
The extent of the price hike will fluctuate depending on specific models and variations, but it will affect the entire spectrum of commercial vehicles offered by the company.
Earlier in January, India's top automaker by revenue had implemented a price increase of up to 3 percent for its commercial vehicle lineup.
