Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported total sales of 64,563 units in July 2024, consisting of 49,013 units sold domestically and 15,550 units exported.

The company also recorded total sales of 450,335 units from January to July 2024, marking a year-on-year growth of 4.31%.

SUVs have played a significant role in HMIL's domestic market, accounting for 66.6% of the total domestic sales in the calendar year 2024.

A key contributor to this success is the new Hyundai CRETA, which achieved sales of 100,000 units by July 2024 since its launch in January. Additionally, the new Hyundai CRETA reached its highest-ever monthly domestic sales with 17,350 units sold in July 2024.

Commenting on the sales performance, Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer of HMIL, said, “We have posted an overall sales growth of 4.31% year-on-year in the period of January to July 2024. SUVs continue to demonstrate a robust contribution, accounting for 66.6% of total HMIL domestic sales. The new Hyundai CRETA achieved key milestones of 100,000 unit sales till July 2024, while also achieving the highest-ever monthly domestic sales of 17,350 units in July 2024.”
