Hyundai Inster Launched Globally: South Korean auto manufacturer Hyundai has unveiled a new micro sub-compact electric vehicle (EV) globally - the Hyundai Inster. Although the exact launch date for India has not been announced, the car made its international debut at the Busan International Motor Show 2024, which runs from June 27 to July 7, 2024. The Inster is set to be the company's smallest compact electric car.

The Urban EV, as Hyundai calls it, boasts a range of 355 km on a single charge. Equipped with LED DRLs, running light signature, and pixel graphic design, the car can charge from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

The name "Inster" is derived from the words "Intimate" and "Innovative." The car is likely to be built on the existing Casper platform, incorporating features like round headlights from its ICE counterpart, the Hyundai Casper.
