The car is set to launch internationally at the Busan International Motor Show 2024 in Korea later this month. The show runs from June 27 to July 7, 2024 and Hyundai plans to introduce this new electric micro car at this event, aiming for a global release.
"Unveiling the stunning all-electric INSTER with its unique pixel graphics," the company tweeted.
Hyundai INSTER: The Origin of the name
The name "INSTER" is derived from the words "Intimate" and "Innovative." This new model is expected to be built on the existing Casper platform. This is because the company is borrowing features like round headlights from its ICE counterpart, the Hyundai Casper.

Hyundai has shared teaser photos on social media, highlighting the car's exterior. The front design includes round headlights and pixel-style 7-element LED turn indicators. However, the company has not disclosed the specific launch date and other details for the INSTER yet.
