Hyundai Alcazar LAUNCHED at this PRICE; Check interior, exterior, engine and other details

Hyundai Motor India launched its upcoming 6 and 7 Seaters Premium SUV – Hyundai Alcazar on Friday, June 18. The company started accepting bookings at Hyundai Dealerships and on its online car-buying platform for Rs 25,000 only on June 9. 

HyundaiAlcazar is geared up to take on rivals in the SUV segment -- the all-new 2021 Tata Safari, the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500, among many. The car is based on the Creta, which is one of the most popular models in India.

Exterior 

Hyundai Alcazar is conceptualised to resonate the magnificence of palaces and castles. Crafted as the epitome of manufacturing grandeur - Hyundai Alcazar is built like a fortress and features an extensive application of 75.6 per cent Advanced and High-Strength Steel (AHSS & HSS). Based on Hyundai’s Global Design identity of Sensuous Sportiness, Hyundai Alcazar characterises a unique design theme that represents a masterpiece of superior craftsmanship. This 6-and 7-seater Premium SUV features a Wing-Surrounded architecture on the dashboard, thereby accentuating the feeling of spaciousness and modernity. 

Interiors  

Hyundai Alcazar will be offered with Premium Dual Tone Cognac Brown interiors. The cabin inspires a soothing and elegant ambience while projecting a magnificent and lavish in-car experience that is accentuated by Hyundai Alcazar’s segment-leading wheelbase of 2,760 mm. 

Hyundai Alcazar will come with a host of advanced and hi-tech features such as Bose premium sound system (8 speakers), auto healthy air purifier with AQI display, front row sliding sunvisor, rear window sunshade, and side footstep. The SUV will also come with a voice-enabled smart sunroof, along with one-touch tip and tumble second-row seats, multi-drive mode (Comfort, Eco, Sport), traction control modes (Snow, Sand, Mud). Other creature comforts include puddle lamps with Hyundai logo projection, 64 colour ambient display, an 8-way adjustable power driver seat. 

Engine 

The Alcazar’s customers can choose from four powertrains that include 2.0 Petrol MPi engine and 1.5 Diesel CRDi engine with options of 6-Speed Manual and 6-Speed Automatic transmissions. The 2.0 Petrol MPi engine with 6-Speed Manual transmission, delivers power to conquer with an acceleration of 0 – 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. While both 2.0 Petrol MPi engine and 1.5 Diesel CRDi engine offer best in segment fuel efficiency with 6-Speed Manual as well as 6-Speed Automatic transmissions. 

Price  

The 7-seater petrol version's price starts at Rs 16.30 lakh, while the 6-seater SUV comes with a starting price of Rs 16.45 lakh in manual transmission and Rs 17.93 lakh for AT variant, according to IANS.
