Honda Price Hike Alert: Honda to increase prices its SUVs which include Elevate, City, Amaze from April

Honda Price Hike Alert: Honda Cars India has disclosed plans for a second wave of price increases set to roll out across its vehicle range from April 2024, marking a subsequent adjustment following an earlier raise in January. The decision appears to be influenced by various economic dynamics affecting the automotive sector. The impending price adjustment will impact all models offered by the company, including the Elevate, City, and Amaze series. However, the precise percentage increase is yet to be officially announced.
Presently, the Honda Amaze, positioned as an entry-level option, initiates at Rs 7.16 lakh, while the premium Elevate starts at Rs. 11.58 lakh. The Honda City, renowned among consumers, commences at Rs. 11.71 lakh, with its hybrid variant, City e:HEV, priced from Rs. 18.89 lakh, all prices exclusive of taxes and additional charges.
Simultaneously, Honda is introducing special year-end promotions for March 2024, aiming to attract customers with enticing offers. These incentives include discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 on the Elevate and benefits reaching up to Rs. 90,000 on the Amaze. Notably, the Honda City leads in discount offers, presenting savings of up to Rs. 1.20 lakh for the month of March.
Customers are encouraged to remain vigilant for the official declaration concerning the forthcoming price adjustment to facilitate informed decisions regarding their vehicle purchases.
Honda’s Latest Car Models
Honda has introduced several new models boasting distinctive features and performance capabilities. The Honda Amaze, for instance, is furnished with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, generating 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. This compact sedan is available with both CVT and manual transmission options, catering to diverse driving preferences. Conversely, the Honda City is offered in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims, powered by a 1.5-litre petrol powertrain producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque.
In 2023, Honda unveiled the Elevate model, equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, positioning it against popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Volkswagen Taigun in its segment.
