Japanese automobile giant, Honda, has made an impressive return to the SUV market with the launch of its highly-anticipated model — Honda Elevate. The company unveiled the Honda Elevate on 3 weeks ago — on September 4 — and the company has said that the response from consumers has been so overwhelming that it has delivered 200 units of the SUV in Chennai and 100 units in Hyderabad in one single day.

This development was officially announced by the company on X (formerly known as Twitter). In a heartfelt message to Honda patrons of Chennai, the company expressed its gratitude, saying, "Thank you for choosing us to be a part of your adventure."  

 

Earlier, Honda had 100 units of Elevate in Hyderabad and tweeted: "100 Honda Elevate, one epic delivery event! Hyderabad, you've shown us incredible love for the Honda Elevate. Thank you for letting us be part of your journey on the road!" 

 

Pricing

The Honda Elevate starts at an attractive price point of Rs 10.99 lakh, exclusive of showroom charges, and the top-of-the-line variant can reach up to Rs 15.99 lakh.

Engine and Powertrain

Honda offers the Elevate with 1.5-liter i-VTEC petrol engine, available with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT transmission. This powerplant delivers 121 PS of power and a torque of 145.1 Nm. 

Features

The Honda Elevate comes equipped with features like a rear seat belt reminder, rear parking sensors, hill-hold assist and a wireless charging system. Inside, advanced interior features (ADAS) have been integrated into the vehicle's design. Furthermore, the Honda Connect app ensures access to a host of safety and security functions.

The Honda Elevate offers a variety of configurations with seven different colour options, including both single-tone and three dual-tone choices.

In terms of cargo space, the car has a 458 liters boot space.

Safety

The SUV is equipped with six airbags, vehicle stability assistance, and rear parking sensors among security features. It incorporates a comprehensive suite of safety technologies, including lane-keeping assistance, lane watch, Honda Sense, and an emergency stop signal system. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system adds to the vehicle's impressive array of features.
