Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported a 21 per cent rise in its total sales for October, reaching 5,97,711 units compared to 4,92,884 units in the same month last year.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported a 21 per cent rise in its total sales for October, reaching 5,97,711 units compared to 4,92,884 units in the same month last year. This growth was driven by domestic sales of 5,53,120 units and exports of 44,591 units, according to HMSI. The company highlighted the positive trend as it continued its strong performance through the festive season, with double-digit growth in sales.
The domestic sales showed a 20 per cent increase compared to October 2023, when 4,62,747 units were sold. Exports, meanwhile, saw a significant jump of 48 per cent year-on-year. HMSI attributed this growth to strong demand both in India and international markets during the month of October.
Key Highlights of October 2024: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) achieved significant milestones, including 1 crore cumulative two-wheeler sales in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chhattisgarh, and 5 million units sold in Karnataka. The company launched the CB300F Flex-Fuel, India’s first 300cc flex-fuel motorcycle, priced at Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). HMSI expanded its network with a new BigWing dealership in Kochi, Kerala. The company also conducted road safety awareness campaigns in 10 cities and celebrated the 7th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Karnal. Mohsin Paramban won the 2024 IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF250.
