Two-wheeler giant, Hero MotoCorp notified that it has increased prices of its two wheelers by 1% with immediate effect on July 8th. The company filed a notification in BSE announcing an upward revision in the ex-showroom prices of its motorcycles and scooters.

''The price increase across its range of two-wheelers has been 1% (of the exshowroom price), although the exact quantum of the increase will vary on the basis of the model and the specific market'', company mentioned in the filing to BSE on Monday. 

The company deals in wide range of two wheelers from gearless scooters to commuter, sports and different kinds of bikes. The shares of Hero Motocorp on Monday closed at Rs 2,380.20, losing massive 133.40 points or 5.31%.
