Here are seven cars in India that failed global safety standards
All of the seven cars in India tested by Global NCAP received a 'zero star' rating.
Proving that most cars available in India have very poor safety standards, a global safety standards body gave a zero star rating to 7 cars in India.
All of the seven cars in India tested by Global NCAP received a 'zero star' rating.
This included Hyundai Eon, Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Eeco, Renault Kwid versions 1, 2 and 3, and Maruti Suzuki Celerio. These are popular cars in the country.
Most of these cars also rated very poor in terms of child safety.

Alejandro Furas, Secretary General, Latin NCAP said, “All these results show a very bad condition and really high risk problem related to these cars being used on the roads in India. This needs to be addressed really fast and more stringent regulation needs to come into force very soon.”
