Shelby Launch: This Fast and Furious car to hit Indian roads soon
It is estimated that the cars will hit the road in the second half of the year and is expected to be priced at around Rs 2 crore.
The Fast and Furious monster car, Shelby, is soon going to be launched in India. Pune-based AJP Group will be the technical partner to Shelby India and provide with assistance in assembling parts and other technical works. It is estimated that the car will hit the road in the second half of the year and is expected to be priced at around Rs 2 crore.
Most of the Shelby cars like the Shelby Cobra, Shelby Super Snake, Shelby GT350 and GT500 have a Mustang platform. To begin with, India will initially witness the popular Mustang Shelby GT cars, although plans for other products are underway. AJP Group has appointed Manas Dewan as the Chief operating officer. On the recent development, he told TOI that AJP Group will assemble the cars in India and carry out necessary modifications and upgrades.
Meanwhile, Shelby India will look after the marketing and distribution of these cars.
