Elon Musk shoots off email to employees; here is what he wants
Elon Musk, the CEO of electric vehicle (EV) company Tesla directed his employees to meet the second-quarter delivery goals in a common email to thousands of employees.
Elon Musk, the CEO of electric vehicle (EV) company Tesla directed his employees to meet the second-quarter delivery goals in a common email to thousands of employees.
According to the CNBC report, he asked his employees to manage all the extra production and delivery work piling up towards the end of a quarter in the email. The company owner further said to his employees that they must review all the expenses of any kind anywhere in the world, including parts, salary, travel expenses, rent, which leaves company's bank account.
Musk mentioned that his company lost huge amount of $700 million in the first quarter of this year, which is around $200 million per month after which he announced that he would personally examine and review each expenditure reports at Tesla. Other than Musk, Zach Kirkhorn, the company`s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will also review and sign all the expenditure reports.
"This is hardcore, but it is the only way for Tesla to become financially sustainable and succeed in our goal of helping make the world environmentally sustainable," Musk added in his email.
Recently, Musk completed his company SpaceX's space mission. On 24th June, Musk`s "Falcon Heavy" SpaceX rocket fired up into the space from a launch pad in Florida, carrying a bunch of 24 experimental satellites that are intended to be safely delivered into three different drop off points in the orbit as planned.
