Italian luxury motorcycle brand Ducati on Friday launched its big offering and much-awaited Diavel 1260 in India. The Indian launch of the much-anticipated machine took place in New Delhi at a high-profile event in Embassy of Italy of the national capital. The Italian motorcycle brand was all geared up ahead of Diavel 1260 launch. "It’s time to unleash the beast within you. Come join us for the exclusive launch of the most sophisticated; maxi-naked power cruiser Ducati Diavel 1260! #SoGoodToBeBad," Ducati India had said in the invite rolled out for the launch event.

"Powerful and muscular, the new Diavel 1260 combines the performance of a maxi-naked with the ergonomics of a muscle cruiser. Its sophisticated design reinterprets the Diavel style in a contemporary key, and integrates a Testastretta DVT 1262 engine with 159 hp, the bike's real pulsing heart," says Ducati.

Ducati Diavel 1260: Winner of Red Dot Award for design

Earlier, in the month of March, Diavel 1260 had won one of the most prestigious international awards for design, the “Red Dot Award: Best of the Best” in the Product Design category. After evaluating over 5,500 products, a highly qualified jury made up of 40 international famous experts has assigned the new Diavel 1260 with the prestigious title “Red Dot Award 2019: Best of the Best”.


 
Each year since 1955, the “Red Dot Design Award” has been assigned to the most original and worthy entries in terms of design and innovation.
