Citroen SUV C21 prized at just above Rs 5 lakh? This car is generating huge interest

While there is a lot of anticipation around Citroen C5 Aircross, which is set for launch soon, there is another SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) which is making the headlines. The French automaker is likely also coming up with C21, for those who want to own an SUV without having to pay a fortune.  

Citroen C21 is likely to be launched in the second half of 2021 and according to some media reports it could be priced at just above Rs 5 lakh.

As per some Zee News reports, testing of Citroen C21 has already begun. The new Citroen C21 compact crossover has been found getting tested several times in India as well as in other select international markets. The Citroen C21 entry-level SUV has been caught testing wearing production body. Looking at it, one would get an idea about some of its design elements.  

The SUV is likely to have 1.2-litre petrol engine. This small size SUV will be pitted against Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. 

Meanwhile, the C5 Aircross launch is expected soon in India.  

The Citroen C21 is the entry level SUV to be offered by the company and it will be replacing C1. Since the testing has already started, one could see the unveiling of this car in a few months.
