German automotive giant BMW on Thursday launched its latest offering BMW X5 in India. The all-new BMW X5 was launched in India by none other than legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Locally-produced, BMW X5 is available in a diesel variant at BMW dealerships today onwards.
German automotive giant BMW on Thursday launched its latest offering BMW X5 in India. The all-new BMW X5 was launched in India by none other than legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Locally-produced, BMW X5 is available in a diesel variant at BMW dealerships today onwards. BMW X5 is available in two diesel models – BMW X5 xDrive30d Sport and BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine. The petrol variant BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport will be available later in 2019. " BMW X5 demonstrates a fresh modern design with refined interiors and authoritative driving attributes," the German luxury car maker said. Locally-produced, BMW X5 is available in three design schemes - Sport, xLine and M Sport. "Fourth generation of the BMW X5 to continue its trailblazing success in the premium SAV segment," BMW revealed in a statement.

BMW X5 xDrive30d Sport: Rs 72.9 lakhs
BMW X5 xDrive30d xLine: Rs 82.4 lakhs
BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport: Rs 82.4 lakhs
Warranty, Service, Maintenance and more: All you need to know
-BMW Service Inclusive and BMW Service Inclusive Plus are optionally available with BMW X5. These service packages cover Condition Based Service (CBS) and maintenance work with a choice of plans from 3 yrs / 40,000 kms to 10 yrs / 2,00,000 kms and starts at pricing of Rs. 1.55 per km.
-The BMW X5 also comes with optional BMW Repair Inclusive that extend warranty benefits from third year of operation to maximum sixth year, after the completion of the standard two-year warranty period.
Engine:
The three-litre six-cylinder diesel engine of the BMW X5 xDrive30d produces an output of 195 kW / 265 hp and a maximum torque of 620 Nm at 1,500 – 2,500 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 6.5 seconds. The three-litre six-cylinder BS VI compliant petrol engine of the BMW X5 xDrive40i produces an output of 250 kW / 340 hp and maximum torque of 450 Nm at 1,500 – 5,200 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 5.5 seconds.
It's an SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle), not SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle)
