BMW Motorrad launches New S 1000 XR in India at Rs 22.50 lakh: Check power, performance and features

BMW New S 1000 XR launched: BMW Motorrad has rolled out its latest offering, the new S 1000 XR, in India with a price tag of Rs 22.50 lakh. This sleek machine, arriving as a completely built-up unit (CBU), is now available for booking at all authorized BMW Motorrad India dealerships.

Available in Blackstorm metallic, Gravityblue metallic (with Style Sports), and Lightwhite solid paint/Motorsport color variants, the S 1000 XR maintains its signature design elements, including a distinctive snout, a soaring fly line, and an ergonomic handlebar setup conducive to an upright riding posture.

Enhanced with an array of standard features, the new S 1000 XR boasts an extended equipment roster, encompassing Touring and Dynamic packages. These packages not only cater to the needs of long-distance journeys but also elevate performance and comfort levels.

Riders can expect a superior riding experience, thanks to features like Riding Modes Pro, Heater Grips, and Cruise Control. The standard Headlight Pro, equipped with adaptive turning light, ensures heightened safety during nighttime rides, while additions like Tyre Pressure Control and Hand Protection enhance both pleasure and safety on the road.

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) aid in daytime visibility, complemented by the convenience of Keyless Ride and a 12 Ah capacity battery, now standard. Moreover, the new S 1000 XR comes equipped with a USB charging option as part of its standard features, while the optimised Shift Assistant Pro guarantees precise gear shifts.

For those seeking further customisation, the optional M package allows riders to refine the sporty profile of the new BMW S 1000 XR. This package, highlighted by the exclusive Light white/M Motorsport paintwork, adds a bold aesthetic to the motorcycle. Included in this package are features like the M Sport seat for optimal support in corners, M lightweight battery, M forged wheels, M Endurance chain, M GPS-Laptrigger, sports silencer, tinted sports windscreen, and a striking black fuel filler cap.
