BMW has launched the BMW iX electric compact SUV in India at Rs 66.90 lakh. This fully electric compact SUV promises a range of up to 438 km, and a (claimed) range of 120 kms in just 10 minutes of charge, apart from other features.
The German carmaker also promised a host of unique design elements, advanced technology, and rapid charging capabilities at the launch.

The BMW iX1 boasts range of up to 438 km, as per WLTP testing standards.
Charging:
This electric SUV offers fast charging capabilities, allowing users to recharge up to 120 km of range in just 10 minutes. For those on the go, BMW stated that the public high-speed charging stations can replenish up to 80 per cent of the battery's range in just 29 minutes.
Design:
From the front to the rear, the BMW iX1 showcases the trademark BMW double kidney grille, with optional blue accents, and Adaptive LED headlights that give a bold look to the car and also optimize aerodynamics.
Interior, Comfort and Technology:
Inside the iX1, BMW offers optional active seats with massage and lumbar functions that aid fatigue-free sitting comfort on long journeys. The BMW Curved Display allows touch and voice controls and boasts of a host of other modern multimedia features.
Colours:
The BMW iX1 comes in different range of colors, like Alpine White, Black Sapphire metallic, Jet Black, Blue Bay Lagoon metallic, Space Silver metallic, BMW Individual Frozen Pure Grey metallic, M Portimao Blue metallic, Frozen Pure Grey metallic, Cape York Green metallic, Space Silver metallic and Mineral White metallic.
