BMW is all set to introduce the CE 04 electric scooter in India today. The CE 04 is expected to be equipped with an 8.9kWh battery and has a claimed range of 130 miles.

The motor is said to be of maximum power of 31 kW and can accelerate the scooter from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 120 km/h.

BMW claims to charge time is 4 hours and 20 minutes with a regular charger; this can be reduced to 1 hour and 40 minutes with the fast charging option.

We can also expect a telescopic front fork and a side-mounted rear monoshock and rides on 15-inch wheels with 120 at the front and 160 at the rear.

The seat height of the CE 04 is 780 mm, which can be increased to 800 mm with the optional BMW Comfort Seats. Weight with standard equipment is 179 kg. The overall design looks futuristic with unique designs and unique body. So far, BMW hasn't revealed any major details other than the date or price. However, the C 400 GT is priced at Rs 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and we expect it to be almost double the cost of the CE 04.
