The bike, expected to be in the 100cc-125cc segment, will feature separate switches for petrol and CNG, allowing for flexible fuel options. Compared to traditional petrol bikes, the CNG variant promises to reduce running costs by half. This innovation aims to provide a cost-effective solution for consumers, particularly targeting individuals with a monthly income of Rs 30,000- Rs 35,000.

Market Strategy and Export Plans

Bajaj Auto's dual-fuel bike is poised to alleviate the financial burden of rising petrol prices. Additionally, the company plans to export this revolutionary bike to six countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, and Tanzania. The CNG bike will be available at an additional cost of Rs 15,000 over the petrol variant, but users can expect to save approximately Rs 13,000 annually on fuel costs.
