Bajaj Pulsar N250: Bajaj has announced the arrival of the 2024 edition of the Pulsar N250, hitting the market at a price tag of Rs 1,50,829 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly, this reflects a mere Rs 829 increase compared to its predecessor.
Visual Enhancements and Colour Options
One of the most prominent visual alterations in the 2024 Pulsar N250 is the incorporation of a 37mm USD fork, retaining the same diameter as its predecessor's telescopic unit. Furthermore, the bike now offers three distinct colour options: White, Red, and Black. The White and Red variants sport a golden USD fork, complemented by silver finishes on the engine casing and exhaust muffler. Conversely, the Black version adopts an all-black aesthetic across its components. This diverse color range addresses a previous limitation where the top dual-channel ABS spec was available in only one color, providing consumers with greater choice.
Technological Upgrades
Bajaj has integrated a new LCD display into the Pulsar N250, similar to the one featured in the N150 & N160 models. This update brings Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for notification alerts, calls, and navigation prompts. Additionally, the switchgear has been revamped to facilitate control over these functions via the new dashboard.
Safety Features
Distinguishing itself from its smaller Pulsar counterparts, the N250 introduces three ABS modes: Rain, Road, and Off-road. Notably, toggling between these modes adjusts ABS sensitivity, albeit without the option to fully deactivate it. However, traction control can be entirely disabled in Off-road mode.
Performance
The updated Pulsar N250 now boasts wider tires - 110/70-17 at the front and 140/70-17 at the rear, marking a 10mm increase at both ends. Moreover, the bike's weight has risen by 2kg, tipping the scales at 164kg with a brimmed 14-liter tank. Despite these changes, the air/oil-cooled, 249cc, single-cylinder engine maintains its output of 24.5hp at 8,750rpm and 21.5Nm at 6,500rpm.
