In November 2024, the company recorded a total of 9,040 units in wholesale dispatches, marking a significant 62 per cent increase from the previous month's sales of 5,570 units. This growth was largely driven by a surge in export shipments, with exports accounting for 6,698 units, a staggering 222 per cent increase year-on-year compared to November 2023. The domestic market also contributed significantly, with 2,342 units sold in November 2024.

This growth reflects Nissan's expanding footprint in international markets and growing confidence in its "Made in India" vehicles, said the release.

According to Nissan, the company’s success is attributed to the strong demand for models such as the New Nissan Magnite, which has been a key driver of both domestic and international sales.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, expressed pride in the company’s progress. He said, "This remarkable feat reflects the continued trust our customers have placed in the quality, reliability, and performance of our vehicles over all these years. Nissan remains committed to its India operations, dealers, partners, and customers. We remain on track for our plans announced earlier this year at the launches of the Nissan X-TRAIL and New Nissan Magnite."

"The unprecedented growth in our export numbers is driven by the New Nissan Magnite and it speaks volumes for our manufacturing capabilities enabling us to deliver world-class products across the world,” he added.

Nissan's export presence now spans over 65 countries, and the company said that it plans to extend its reach to Left-Hand Drive markets soon.
