Automobile makers — from the likes of Maruti Suzuki India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company and Eicher Motors (the parent of Royal Enfield) — are all set to report their sales for March 2023. Here's what to expect in the country's auto sector across segments ranging from cars and commercial vehicles to two-wheelers and tractors.
Analysts estimate it to be a mixed bag for the auto space in the country with fewer hits than misses.
What to expect from prominent auto makers including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, M&M, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, TVS, Ashok Leyland and Royal Enfield in March 2023
According to Zee Business research, among the biggest carmakers in the country, Maruti Suzuki is likely to report an eight per cent year-on-year decline in monthly sales, whereas Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra are likely to post double-digit growth in their figures.

In the two-wheeler segment, Hero MotoCorp is expected to stage nine per cent growth in sales, but Bajaj Auto and TVS are estimated to take a hit of eight per cent and three per cent respectively, according to the research. However, Royal Enfield is estimated to see growth of six per cent in sales.
