Auto giant Aston Martin launches DB12 in India; know ex-showroom price and specifications
It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to rear wheels. With a claimed top speed of 325 kmph, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds.
Premium car manufacturer Aston Martin on Friday (September 29, 2023) launched the DB12 model in India. The company has kept its ex-showroom price at Rs 4.59 crore. DB12 is the successor model of the already introduced DB11. The new version has a 4.0-litre V8 engine.
DB12 is powered by a four-litre V8 twin-turbocharged powertrain, which is tuned to produce 670bhp and 800Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to rear wheels. With a claimed top speed of 325 kmph, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. It is also equipped with three drive modes – GT, Sport and Sport+.
DB12 features a larger front grille, flanked by new LED headlights. The sports car rides on 21-inch wheels and has flush-fitting door handles in the doors. Inside, the cabin features a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It is also equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins sound system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
Deliveries of the Aston Martin DB12 are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2024. In India, Aston Martin DB12 is going to compete directly with Ferrari Roma.
