The reimagined Vantage embodies the essence of high-performance sports cars while catering to modern demands. It celebrates the classic qualities of breathtaking power, razor-sharp handling, and a finely tuned front-engine, rear-wheel-drive chassis—attributes cherished by enthusiasts but increasingly rare in today's market.

The Vantage’s introduction follows the successful debut of the DB12 Coupe and Volante, further strengthening Aston Martin's foothold in the ultra-luxury sports car segment. It joins a prestigious lineup of ultra-luxury sporting GTs, SUVs, hypercars, and a formidable presence in world championship motorsport.

Tracing its roots back to 1950, when the "Vantage" name first appeared as an enhanced engine for the DB2, the model designation was formally introduced in 1964 with the DB5. The standalone Vantage model was introduced in the early 1970s, and it has since become synonymous with style, performance, and distinctive character in Aston Martin’s offerings.

The new Vantage reflects a transformative period in Aston Martin's 111-year history. It features a striking exterior design characterized by an aggressive front grille, aerodynamic lines, and a dynamic silhouette. Inside, the cabin offers a luxurious blend of premium materials, cutting-edge technology, and advanced driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a comprehensive airbag system for enhanced safety.

The Vantage’s launch comes amid Aston Martin's strong motorsport presence, underscored by its performance in the 2023 Formula One® season and international GT racing, as well as its upcoming bid for victory in the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours race with the Valkyrie AMR.

Aston Martin CEO Amedeo Felisa emphasized the significance of the Vantage name: “As we enter a period of pivotal change in the world of high-performance cars, it is essential to remain true to the qualities upon which our legendary marque has been built. This newest model of Vantage makes an unwavering commitment to high-performance in its purest form. Class-leading power and speed establish its credentials, but it is through the expert application of the latest technologies to the Vantage’s perfectly balanced front-engine rear-drive chassis that we have created a sports car with addictive capability.”

Under the hood, the new Vantage is powered by a heavily reworked 4.0-liter Twin-Turbo V8 engine, producing 665PS and 800Nm of torque—a 30% increase in power and 15% increase in torque over its predecessor. This power is harnessed by an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, propelling the Vantage to a top speed of 202 mph and enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The car's handling is enhanced by a bonded aluminum structure, providing a perfect 50:50 weight distribution, while Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires and lightweight 21” forged alloy wheels ensure superior grip and performance.

The Vantage’s muscular exterior is complemented by a 30mm wider stance, a redesigned front end with a 38% larger grille for improved cooling, and new Matrix LED headlamps. The interior offers a fusion of luxury and cutting-edge technology, with premium materials and a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system, alongside a next-generation infotainment system with a 10.25” touchscreen and seamless smartphone integration.

Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman remarked, “To capture the new car’s huge uplift in power and performance, we have accentuated its physique, increasing its muscularity and sharpening its sculptural form. The Vantage expresses its intent and potency explicitly, combining instant visual impact with slow-burn charisma that mirrors the driving experience.”

Production of the new Vantage is set to begin in Q1 2024, with deliveries expected in Q2 2024. The model’s blend of exhilarating performance, dynamic handling, and striking design represents the pinnacle of modern sports car engineering.
