New Force Gurkha to launch soon; Models available for booking
The Gurkha offers a 9-inch infotainment display, complemented by a full digital instrument cluster and various creature comforts. However, compared to other SUVs in its segment, such as the Thar, it falls short on certain features.
Force Motors dealerships have commenced bookings for the latest iterations of the Gurkha, signaling an impending launch. The revamped Gurkha 5-door and the brand-new Gurkha 3-door are expected to hit the market by early May 2024. While sources within some dealerships hint at a price announcement possibly on May 2, 2024, there hasn't been official confirmation from the brand.
Enhanced performance and features for Force Gurkha
The updated Gurkha lineup now offers both three- and five-door variants, sharing a strong 2.6-liter diesel engine sourced from Mercedes. This engine upgrade delivers a substantial power boost, with output reaching 140hp, a significant increase from the previous 91hp. A 5-speed manual gearbox remains the sole transmission option, with no automatic variant available. Notably, all models feature standard four-wheel drive, controllable via a switch conveniently placed on the centre console.
In terms of amenities, the Gurkha offers a 9-inch infotainment display, complemented by a full digital instrument cluster and various creature comforts. However, compared to other SUVs in its segment, such as the Thar, it falls short on certain features.
