2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 in India today. The company recently opened the booking of its upcoming car in the country. Customers can book the Alto K10 by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

"The All-New Alto K10 will democratize new age technology and features in the hatchback cars. We are confident that the All-New Alto K10 together with Alto 800 will bring pride of ownership & joy of mobility to many more customers in India,” Senior Executive Officer (Marketing & Sales) of Maruti Suzuki India Limited Shashank Srivastava said during the booking announcement event.

Ahead of the official announcement of the car several details have been revealed. According to BGR India, the car will be sold in 12 variants. 

The upcoming hatchback will also have a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electrically adjustable OVRMs, power windows, and a remote key. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be priced between Rs 4.15 lakh - Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, BGR India said.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be powered by a 1.0-liter K10C Dual Jet petrol engine, which we have seen on other Maruti vehicles like the Celerio and S-Presso. The engine has a maximum output of 67 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute and a maximum torque of 89 Nm at 3,500 revolutions per minute. There will be a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT as available transmissions, as per the BGR India report.
