2022 Hyundai Tucson Launch: Korean automobile company Hyundai has launched its new SUV Tucson in India today. The starting price of the SUV is Rs 27.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The fourth generation of the Hyundai TUCSON is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options.

Two different powertrains are available in the brand-new Hyundai Tucson. It is either powered by a new Nu 2.0 Petrol Engine with a 6-Speed automatic transmission or a new R 2.0 Diesel engine with an 8-Speed automatic transmission.

The car is equipped with several features. It gets Hyundai Bluelink features to give it some modern features such as Voice Recognition commands and over Air Updates for both the System and Map. It offers customers over 60 connected car features. It also gets multiple climate control technologies. The car also offers Dual Zone FATC (Fully Automatic Temperature Control) with Auto Defogger.

The company had unveiled the vehicle on July 13 and was supposed to officially launch it on August 4. However, the launch was postponed to August 10.

The Hyundai Tucson 2022 offers front ventilated & heated seats. The Tucson also gets voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof.

In terms of safety, the new Tucson gets SmartSense with Level 2 ADAS capability along with 6 airbags. Using automated sensing technology with a camera and radar sensors, the Hyundai Tucson is able to detect a car, a pedestrian or a cyclist on the road.
