Auto Launches Highlights: Maruti Suzuki launched its much-awaited MPV Invicto in a glittering ceremony on Wednesday (July 5). A few hours later Bajaj Auto also unveiled Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X. With Invicto, Maruti Suzuki had made entry into the premium MPV segment. It is the most expensive car for Maruti Suzuki with the ex-showroom price for its base model- Zeta+ (7-seater) at Rs 24.79 lakh. Its other variants- Zeta+ 8-seater will come for Rs 24.84 lakh (ex-showroom price), while Alpha+ 7-seater is priced at Rs 28.42 lakh (ex-showroom price). Maruti Suzuki said that Invicto would be the first Maruti car to get electronic parking brakes. The company said that the car will also have a number of other safety features like six airbargs, TPMS, and Hill Hold Assist. The car is also the first from the company to have an electronic parking brake. The feature will be across all its models. The company has already started advance booking for Invicto on June 19. The car is part of Maruti Suzuki's partnership with Toyota. In fact, Invicto is a rebadged version of Toyota Innova Hycross. This is the fourth such car to be rebadged. Baleno and Glanza, Urban Crusier HyRyder and Grand Vitara, Brezza and Urban Cruiser are also rebadged cars.
