Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor launched: Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor in India on Wednesday, April 4. The badge-engineered Maruti Suzuki Fronx compact SUV has a host of engine, fuel, transmission option that carbuyers can choose from. Here's a complete rundown of Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's specifications, features and full price list — 
 

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Engine, Fuel Options (Petrol and CNG)

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx share the same two engine and fuel options — 

a) 1.2-litre Dual-Jet Dual-VVT petrol engine, which makes 90PS of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque. 

b) 1.0-litre turbo petrol, which makes 100PS of maximum power and 148Nm of peak torque. 

c) 1.2-litre CNG unit, that makes 77PS of maximum power and 98Nm of peak torque.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Transmission Options: Manual and Automatic 

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor's 1.2-litre unit can be mated to both 5-speed Manual Transmission (MT) or a 5-speed Automatic Transmission (AMT).

The 1.0-litre turbo petrol will come with 5-speed Manual and a 6-speed Automatic transmission options. 

The 1.2-litre CNG unit will only be available with a 5-speed Manual Transmission option.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor design and features

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor sports a honeycomb grille, redesigned LED day-time running lights (DRLs), and 16-inch alloy wheels. It gets a dual-tone layout, automatic climate control, head-up display, 9-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Arkamys surround sound system, 360-degree view camera and wireless charger.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor safety features

Toyota will offer the Urban Cruiser Taisor compact SUV with six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, three-point seatbelts and Isofix child seat mounts, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, and rollover mitigation.
