Meanwhile, medium sugar prices ended mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small sugar (S-30) prices fell by Rs 18/18 per quintal to Rs 3,702/3,772 from Monday's close at Rs 3,720/3,790.

Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,790/3,962 per quintal as against Rs 3,782/3,972 yesterday.
