German company MAN Energy Solutions, which is into industrial power solutions, is targetting 300 million euro in annual revenue over the next three years from its new plant near here that was commissioned Tuesday.

The new plant is at the GIDC Estate (Gujarat Industrial Estate Corporation), at Savli on the outskirt of the city.

MAN Energy India is headquartered at Waluj near Aurangaad and produces diesel engines for domestic and global markets for power generation and marine propulsion.

The parent is headquartered in Augsurg in Germany and is part of is part of the VW Group. It operates over 120 manufacturing sites across many countires and employs over 14,000 people.

Rakesh Mathur, managing director-designate of the company, said they dediced to set up the new plant at Savli for expansion as the existing plant at Ranoli, set up in 1999, and has no scope for expansion. The Ranoli plant annual revenue of 100 million euro at present.

They also have two solution plants at Aurangabad and Bengalurum which supply steam turbine generators for domestic and global power generation markets.

MAN Energy has installed over 500 turbo engines in the country and its customers include like Reliance, Tata Steel, JSW Seel, SAIL, IOC, HPCL, ONGC, Essar Oil (Nayara Energy) and Essar Steel etc.
