HROne PROPEL takes centre stage in Indore to strengthen HR connections and inspire change
The HROne PROPEL 2023-24 Indore chapter united HR leaders at WOW Crest, Indore, on December 06, 2024. It was an evening of insightful keynote, engaging panel discussion, and candid interactions to foster meaningful conversations in the HR community.
The event began with a warm welcome by Pulkit Joshi, Head of Marketing at HROne, who shared the genesis of HROne and its flagship initiative, HROne PROPEL. He highlighted how a series of events has become a vital platform for HR professionals to address emerging challenges, exchange ideas, and get real time insights to transform workplaces.
Following the welcome note, Dr Upinder Dhar, Vice Chancellor at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya and Head of NHRD Indore chapter, delivered a guidance note, setting the stage for the event.
The audience was captivated by the keynote session delivered by Dr Kanupriya Manchanda, Vice President, People at InfoBeans, titled "Coaching the CEO: How HR Becomes a Strategic Leader in Times of Crisis."
Dr Manchanda emphasised how HR professionals can move beyond routine tasks to play a key role in shaping their organisation’s direction. She shared practical ways to handle challenges, support leadership, and build stronger, more adaptable teams. Her session left the audience motivated and ready to make meaningful changes in their workplaces.

The evening continued with an insightful panel discussion featuring five eminent panelists—Priyanka Sharma, HR Manager at Fusion Global Business Solutions, Nupur Phatak, Founder and CEO of Nuarsh TechServe, Harmeet Chhabra, Global Talent Head, Flexton Inc., Swapnil Jain, Chief Operating Officer at 47 billion, and Suyesh Sabnani, Chief Learning Officer at Suyeshsabnani.com.
The panel explored the theme, "What Gen Z and Alpha Expect from HR Leaders." From their demand for flexibility and purpose-driven roles to their expectations of inclusivity and tech-driven experiences, the discussion shed light on the evolving role of HR in catering to multigenerational workforces.
The discussion provided the audience with a roadmap to align their HR strategies with the evolving aspirations of workforces. The panel’s insights highlighted the importance of creating workplaces that cater to the diverse values and motivations of today’s employees.
