The Binge Town is more than just a private theatre; it's a one-stop spot for everything jubilant, joyous and exciting. The brand’s USP lies in creating unique experiences that are catered to the specific requirements of each client, from exquisite décor to mouth-watering delicacies and more. Focusing on providing outstanding service and satisfying patrons, The Binge Town has swiftly emerged as the preferred option for individuals looking for a unique, premium and private celebration space. Binge Town’s first branch construction started in the last week of December 2021, and launched one month later in January 2022 with one theatre in Koramangala, Bengaluru.

“We offer private celebration spaces for small groups, typically accommodating 4-6 people, with a maximum capacity of 12-15 depending on room size. Each space features a big screen and surround sound system, perfect for private theatre celebrations. Our services include private screenings, decorations, cakes, food and beverages, gifts, photoshoots, and fog entry,” says Chetan Agrawal, one of the co-founders.

The brand slowly evolved to provide more and more services to customers like cakes, photoshoots, food and beverages, gifts, etc. to become a one-stop destination for planning surprises and celebrations.

Customers can choose the branch and theatre they want to book based on group size and decoration preferences. To reserve a slot, a Rs 750 advance payment is required. Additional services can be selected as needed, with the remaining balance payable on the day of celebration. Each theatre offers different decoration themes, providing a wide range of options for customers.

Presently, The Binge Town has a total of five branches in Bengaluru with 14 celebration spaces; four branches in Delhi with 20 celebration spaces (which is their biggest market as of now); and four branches in Hyderabad with 12 celebration spaces. That is, in total, they have 13 branches in three cities with 46 celebration spaces.

“The USP of the brand is that it goes above and beyond to make a customer's celebration special,” says Chetan Agrawal, adding, “We once had a group of clients with multiple reasons to celebrate. Two were getting married soon, and one was expecting a baby. They had booked a ‘bride-to-be’ celebration but wanted to surprise their friend with a baby shower. After the ‘bride-to-be’ celebration, we transformed the decorations for the baby shower. The mom-to-be was thrilled with the surprise. Moments like these often bring tears of happiness to our clients' eyes, giving us goosebumps and a sense of pride in our brand.”

Binge Town’s add-on services are also a hit with its customers. Nowadays, dry ice is very popularly used in almost all Indian weddings to make entries grand. The Binge Town team wanted to see if they could manage the logistics and implement it inside their theatres to provide a magical experience for their customers. After speaking with vendors, conducting trial runs, and starting the fog entry service on a small scale, they learned the nuances and then expanded it to all branches within a month. Customers have loved this add-on immensely, with many opting for 10 or more fog entries to create a grand experience for their loved ones.

“Photoshoots were something that had always been in the back of our minds, and customers had been requesting this service for a long time. However, we initially lacked confidence to deliver the desired quality. We then decided to hire experienced professional photographers to train our employees. Like the fog entry service, we started the photoshoot service as a small pilot and scaled it up once the standard operating procedures (SOPs) were set for success,” explains a proud Chetan.

With two and half years of successful operations in the bag, The Binge Town is now looking at expanding its footprint across India. “The next city we plan to conquer is Mumbai. We want to establish at least two branches in Mumbai before the end of this calendar year. However nothing concrete has been decided as of now in this direction. It might take us a couple of months to get started on this, but we are hopeful that we will continue our winning streak,” Chetan signs off with a smile.
