Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 5 Voting Date and Timings: As many as 49 Lok Sabha constituencies, spanning six states and two Union territories (UTs), are all set to undergo voting in the fifth phase (Phase 5) of the 2024 general elections scheduled to take place on Monday, May 20. Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Maharashtra are among the states slated to cast their ballots under Phase 5. Phase 5 voting comes after the conclusion of voting in four out of seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections on April 19, April 26, May 7, and May 13, respectively.

The 49 Lok Sabha constituencies scheduled to undergo voting in Phase 5 include 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, including Raebareli, Amethi and Lucknow. 

Phase 5 involves the lowest number of constituencies among the total seven phases in the 2024 polls.  

Political campaigning--an organised effort aimed at swaying public opinion--for the fifth phase ended on May 18.

• West Bengal: 81.76 per cent
• Odisha: 73.29 per cent
• Jharkhand: 66.8 per cent
• Maharashtra: 61.02 per cent
• Uttar Pradesh: 59.21 per cent
• Bihar: 57.33 per cent
• Jammu and Kashmir: 44.97 per cent

Between Phase 1 and Phase 4, voting has taken place in as many as 379 Lok Sabha constituencies located in 23 states and UTs. 

The cumulative turnout in the first four phases has been recorded at 66.95 per cent.

Voting for the last two phases will be conducted on May 25 and June 1.

The counting of votes for all of the seven phases will take place on June 4.
