US Stock Market News (May 9): Dow Jones futures were down 80 points, or 0.2 per cent, and S&P 500 futures down 7.8 points, or 0.2 per cent, at the last count at 6 pm IST (8:30 am EST) on May 9, suggesting a mildly negative start ahead in the US share market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average, whose 30 constituents include Amazon.com, American Express, Apple, Boeing, Caterpillar, Coca-Cola, Intel, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Nike and Visa, has already closed higher for six consecutive sessions, up about 381 points for the week.
