Emergency healthcare startup Medulance gets $3 million in Series A round
Medulance which was started in 2017, currently has a fleet of 10,000 ambulances and 1000 health experts. The company was co-founded by Ravjot Singh Arora and Pranav Bajaj and has made significant strides in emergency medical services.
Medulance, a Delhi-based emergency healthcare services provider, has received $3 million funding in its Series A round, the company said in a statement.
The fresh funding round was led by Alkemi Growth Capital. Other investors like Dexter Capital, Aman Gupta, and Namita Thapar, also participated in the round.
Medulance which was started in 2017, currently has a fleet of 10,000 ambulances and 1000 health experts. The company was co-founded by Ravjot Singh Arora and Pranav Bajaj and has made significant strides in emergency medical services.
The startup appeared in Shark Tank India Season 2 and was selected by the sharks for a deal of Rs 5 crore for 5 per cent equity dilution.
It plans to use the money to increase the company's presence across the country while focusing on emergency management technology.
"This funding marks an important milestone for Medulance. With the support of our investors, we are poised to scale our operations and further elevate the standards of emergency healthcare across India," Medulance Co-founder and CEO Pranav Bajaj said.
In the next 15-18 months, Medulance plans to expand to over 1,000 cities in the country, he added.
