Sushma Swaraj asks Amazon for unconditional apology
On the back of Amazon selling doormats on India's national flag in Canada, Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday has asked for an unconditional apology from the company and to withdraw all products insulting the country's national flag immediately.
"Amazon must tender unconditional apology. They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately," Swaraj said on Twitter.

Swaraj also said that if it is not done, the country will not grant Indian visa to any Amazon official and would revoke the visas issued earlier.
"If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier," she said.

She also tweeted as saying, "Indian High Commission in Canada : This is unacceptable. Please take this up with Amazon at the highest level."
