IRCTC dividend 2023, IRCTC dividend 2023 record date: The board of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.5 per share on equity shares of face value of Rs 2 each for the FY 2023-24 i.e., a 125 per cent of the paid-up share capital amounting to Rs 160 crore along with the company’s financial results for Q2.

The railway PSU fixed November 17 as the record date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend of the FY 2023-24.

A record date is a date that determines the shareholders eligible to benefit from corporation action such as a dividend. The investor must own equity shares of the company on the record date in order to receive the dividend.

State-run IRCTC reported a standalone net profit of Rs 294.7 crore for the July-September period, beating analysts' estimates. With that, the company registered growth of 30.4 per cent in quarterly net profit on a year-on-year basis. Read more
IRCTC also approved formation of wholly-owned subsidiary (WOS) for IRCTC I-R the approval of Registrar of Companies, Delhi and Haryana / Ministry of Corporate affairs and other appropriate authorities. IRCTC is the only firm authorised by the Indian Railways to manage food services on trains and offer online railway ticket booking services.
