Xiaomi to launch Redmi 4A on Amazon India today; here's how you can buy it

Highlights:

1. Xiaomi has partnered exclusively with Amazon India and will sell the smartphone on its e-commerce platform

2. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels at a PPI of 443 pixels per inch

3. The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM

The wait for Redmi 4A launch will come to an end in few hours from now as Xiaomi will launch the product in India on Monday.

Xiaomi has partnered exclusively with Amazon India and will sell the smartphone on its e-commerce platform.

Besides launching the Redmi 4A smartphone, the company will announce a major milestone in its journey into India.

"20 March: In addition to a new Redmi, we'll also announce a major milestone in @XiaomiIndia's India journey. 3 days to go! #TimeToGetSmarter," Xiaomi India managing director Manu Kumar Jain said on Twitter.

However, the company has not disclosed the pricing of its soon-to-be launched smartphone in India.

On Friday last week, Redmi India and Amazon India have confirmed the launch of the smartphone in the country.

Similarly, Amazon India tweeted last week as saying,"@RedmiIndia @TheShilpaShetty Yes! #TimeToGetSmarter, Time 2 get on Amazon. Stay tuned for more updates. http://amzn.to/2mRNmpk."

According to NDTV report, Xiaomi Redmi 4A smartphone was launched in November 2016. 

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM, cited its review report on the phone. 

The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card, it said.

As far as the cameras are concerned,  the Xiaomi Redmi 4A packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
