Maruti Suzuki Price Hike: Maruti Suzuki has announched a notable price hike for two of its prominent models, the Maruti Swift and select variant of the Maruti Grand Vitara series, the Grand Vitara Sigma, Zee Business reported. Effective immediately, customers will experience increased prices on these sought-after vehicles.
Swift and Grand Vitara Affected
The price adjustments entail a rise of up to Rs 25,000 for the Swift, while the Grand Vitara Sigma variant will undergo a hike of Rs 19,000. This development comes in the wake of a similar adjustment made by the company earlier in January 2024, citing escalating inflationary pressures and amplified input expenses.
Company's Statement
Upon the earlier price revision, Maruti Suzuki conveyed, "We have endeavored to absorb the escalating input costs over a period. However, prevailing market conditions necessitate us to transfer a portion of these hikes to our esteemed customers. Certain models will experience substantial price increments."
